Aldertools was founded by Jonathan Terrance Alderton, he has spent well over 20 years working in the gas turbine industry. Starting his career as an apprentice at Wood Group, Jonathan climbed through the ranks to become the Testbed Supervisor at Alba Power. Having spent two decades on the shop floor, he learned first-hand that having the correct, high-integrity tooling is a fundamental factor in ensuring an engine passes test and returns onsite promptly.
He knows that in this industry, a missing or poorly calibrated tool doesn't just delay an engine—it risks component misalignment, failed tests and catastrophic downtime.
