Health & Safety Statement
At Aldertools, health and safety is fundamental to the way we source, supply and support specialist gas turbine tooling.
We recognise that tooling used in maintenance and overhaul environments can have a direct bearing on personnel safety, equipment protection and the quality of maintenance activities.
We therefore take a responsible, risk-based approach to the tooling we supply:
Controlled Sourcing
We source tooling from established manufacturers and suppliers, selecting tooling with consideration for suitability, quality, traceability and the intended application.
New & Pre-Owned Tooling
Where new tooling is supplied, we aim to ensure that it is manufactured to the agreed specification through suitably qualified and appropriately vetted manufacturing partners.
Where pre-owned tooling is supplied, we consider its condition, provenance and suitability for the intended application. Where inspection, testing or certification is appropriate, relevant requirements are considered as part of the sourcing and supply process.
Competent Supply Chain
Where specialist manufacturing, packaging, inspection, testing or logistics services are required, we work with appropriate third-party providers and communicate relevant tooling, handling and transportation requirements.
Safe Handling & Transport
Tooling may be heavy, complex or sensitive. We consider relevant handling, packaging and transportation requirements and use specialist third parties where appropriate to ensure tooling is prepared and transported suitably.
Customer & Site Requirements
Where Aldertools personnel attend customer or supplier premises, applicable site safety requirements, inductions and procedures will be followed.
We continually review our processes and supplier relationships to maintain appropriate health, safety and engineering standards across the Aldertools supply chain.
Important
Tooling supplied by Aldertools must always be used in accordance with the applicable asset manufacturer's maintenance documentation, approved procedures, specified torque requirements, tooling instructions and local site safety requirements.
The end user remains responsible for confirming that the tooling is suitable for the specific task and application and that it is used by appropriately competent personnel in accordance with applicable procedures and safety requirements.
