Aldertools supplies specialist tooling kits configured around your engine, maintenance scope and the equipment you already hold.
A kit can support a specific task, an engine section or a broader strip-and-build programme. Whether you want to bring selected maintenance work in-house or supplement an existing tooling inventory, we can help identify and source the tools required.
For example, Avon engines, potential scopes include front-end maintenance, compressor bleed valves, compressor outlet casing work, and external wheelcase and auxiliary-drive maintenance. Other packages can be configured to suit your requirements.
Tooling can be sourced through new manufacture, traceable pre-owned supply or a combination of both. Where standard tooling is unsuitable or unavailable, we can work with specialist engineering and manufacturing partners to develop a solution for the defined application.
Each package is agreed against the selected maintenance tasks and engine configuration, with quantities, inspection, documentation and packaging requirements established before supply.

Custom Modifications & Tooling Adjustments
Standard tooling isn't always the right solution for a particular engine, workscope or working environment.
Aldertools can support bespoke tooling requirements, from adapting existing equipment to helping develop a new solution where standard tooling isn't suitable.

Heavy-Duty Packaging & Storage
Tooling can be supplied in purpose-built packaging designed for transport, protection and storage. Packaging can be configured around the size and requirements of the tooling supplied.
Timber Cases: Larger tooling packages can be supplied in robust, heat-treated timber cases suitable for international transport and compliant with applicable ISPM 15 requirements.
Tool Control: Where appropriate, CNC-cut foam inserts or dedicated tool layouts can be provided to protect equipment during transit and make tool identification and inventory checks straightforward.
Onsite Storage: Timber cases can also provide practical long-term storage, keeping tooling protected, organised and readily accessible between maintenance activities.
Flight Cases: Smaller or more mobile tooling packages can be supplied in high-impact flight cases with custom foam protection where required.
Global Shipping & Logistics
Aldertools can arrange flexible freight and delivery solutions to suit the requirements of each tooling order and maintenance programme.
